Saint Sophia Hope |
This ministry of Saint Sophia is geared for children between the ages of 40 day's up to 5 years of age. The goal of the Hope Ministry is to bring to the children of the Orthodox Faith a basic understanding of the Holy Church. Children and their parents/caregivers arrive at church, spend time socializing until they meet with Fr. Andrew in church and discuss the topic of the day. After receiving the Blessing's of Father Andrew, the children gather to complete an age-appropriate topic-related craft. They have time for songs, both Orthodox and other Christian songs, and a story time related again to the topic. The meeting closes with snack and playtime.
Hope meets every Thursday at 9:30a.m. All children, between 40 days and 5 years of age, are always welcome with their caregivers.
